QUALIFIED UMPIRES

We are excited to be hosting this official ITFU England course and it will be available for the following qualifications:

Class C: Age 15+, All grades

Class B: Age 16+, Red Belt+

Class A: Age 18+, 4th Degree+

This course will be led by Master Bertrand, Master Beanland and Master Hollingsworth and will follow all the new ITF Union rules and updates.

Cost:
£50 (Certification valid for 1 year)
£80 (Certification valid for 2 years with a free refresher course after 1 year)

Class C involves time keeping, score keeping, using the drawsheets, weight and height checks, enquiry table, Registrations and ring running.

Class B involves corner judging for sparring, judging patterns (black belts only), power breaking judge, special technique judge.

Plus Class C

Class A involves being a centre referee and Jury president.

Plus Class B & C

All candidates will participate in the whole course going through each class, earning the relevant Certification at the end.

This is a great chance to prepare for the upcoming British Championships being held Sunday 27th November 2022 in Luton.

All Officials, Referees and Umpires must hold the relevant qualification to work at all ITFU England Championships.

It is essential that our competitions are run efficiently and all our competitors are judged fairly with the upmost respect and professionalism from our Referees and Umpires. We can all achieve this together as I am confident we all feel and strive for this same goal.
